A Silver Lining Tours tradition is no steak dinners until a tornado is seen, but we were in Amarillo, home of The Big Texan, so steak was a must. Horned limos took us to the restaurant where we indulged in steak. That is a dish of macaroni and cheese alongside that steak. Maybe the tradition ought to be changed to having steak and then expecting to see a tornado the next day.
We didn't see a tornado the next day in New Mexico, but we sure did see a splendid super cell storm with abundant rain, hail, thunder, and lightning.
